About Hans Schaepper

I’m Hans Schaepper, PhD, and I’ve been working thirty-seven years in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as an orthotist and prosthetist. During that time, I’ve supported countless patients with rebuilding their lives after limb loss, stroke, and other injuries to their brain and body. My PhD is in Marriage and Family Therapy.

My expertise providing function through a human device interface was the foundation for my interest in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) of the brain.

I joined Schaepper-Psychiatry as a certified neuro technician developing a brain stimulation program (TMS) addressing treatment resistant depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, autism spectrum disorder, concussion and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. 

I was instrumental in getting peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) started with Schaepper-Psychiatry, addressing chronic pain throughout the body.

Magnetic stimulation of the human nervous system is an addition to a pharmaceutical approach and can bring relief with minimal side effects.
