About Cody Lang
Adult, Couples , and Family Therapist
Life is a constant balancing act, and I know how overwhelming it can feel to carry all the different roles and responsibilities that come our way. My goal as a therapist is to offer you a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to navigate those challenges alone. Clients who work with me can count on me to be compassionate, authentic, and practical. Whether you’re a first responder, veteran, healthcare professional, student, or simply someone seeking clarity and resilience, I will walk alongside you with respect, warmth, and evidence-based tools to help you heal and grow.
Professional Background
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) specializing in trauma-informed care, resilience, and relational healing. Before entering the field of mental health, I proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as both an enlisted aircrew member and later as a commissioned officer, an experience that gave me a deep understanding of the stressors faced by veterans, service members, and their families. Clinically, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds and am trained in EMDR (certified through EMDRIA), CBT, person-centered therapy, and equine-assisted approaches. I work with teens, adults, and elders in individual, couple, and family settings.
Something Personal
My transition from military service into the field of mental health was driven by a calling to help others find healing and strength. I know firsthand the importance of resilience, supportive relationships, and courage in navigating life’s transitions. Outside of my professional role, I value connection, balance, and personal growth. Clients often describe me as grounded, approachable, and genuinely invested in their well-being.
